Sandy Kaczmarski – Work History

Geneva Rotary

I first joined Rotary in 2002 when I became a member and eventually served on the board for the Rotary Club of Wheaton. After moving to Elburn, I was encouraged to become a member of the Rotary Club of Geneva in 2005, where I also served on the board and acted as president in 2009-2010.

Some of the charities who received donations from our club during my year as president were:

  • Lazarus House and Tri-Cities Family Services, each receiving $1,250
  • Geneva Academic Foundation, $250
  • Three $1,000 scholarships awarded for continuing education
  • Purchased a Shelter Box to aid Haiti earthquake victims
  • Participated with Rotary International in End Polio Now campaign
  • Literacy Project in St. Charles, $400
  • Tri-Cities Family Services Wilderness Program, $500
  • Serve Christmas dinner and present giftsd to residents of Association for Individual Development (Aurora)

Shelter Box USA provides a large tent, cooking utensils, blankets, water and other items needed for survival following a natural disaster.
